A Georgian Silver Entree Dish London 1815 by William Bateman 1810enquire A good quality George III solid silver entree dish of shaped rectangular cushion form. Decorated with gadrooned borders to base and cover. The removable cast silver handle decorated with matching decoration. Clearly hallmarked for London 1813 by William Bateman to the base and lid. The base, lid and handle are marked with 3. This entree dish is in lovely condition with no erasures. Very good gauge silver with only the usual very minor marks

John apart from following his father as the Member of Parliament for Taunton from 1800 and 1811 (his death)

His first mark was entered as a large-worker 1749 and the address given was in Foster Lane
