ice skating canvas Size:50x70Skaters on Nybroviken by Edvard Forsstrm from 1896. Skating got a boost in the middle of the 19th century and became a popular leisure interest for many. In the background you can see Strandvgen and Nybroplan. Edvard studied at the Art Academy in Stockholm, was a cartoonist and illustrator but then got hooked on political satire.
